The Chairman and the CEO Meet with WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom GHEBREYESUS in Geneva

Mr. LEUNG Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of GX Foundation, and Prof. CHAN Ying-yang, Emily, CEO of GX Foundation, met with Dr. Tedros Adhanom GHEBREYESUS, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), in Geneva, Switzerland, on 12 January.

Both parties held in-depth discussions on the various medical and public health projects GX is implementing within its ten project countries across four continents. They agreed to strengthen future collaboration in different areas, including dengue fever prevention and control. Mr. LEUNG expressed his sincere gratitude for the WHO's recognition and support of GX's work in the various project countries and stated GX would pursue technical exchanges with the WHO on multiple fronts, particularly in the field of dengue fever control.

This meeting further enhanced communication and ties between GX and the WHO at multiple levels, laying a foundation for broader cooperation between the two parties in the medical and public health sectors.
