First aid training courses in Beijing

On 12th July 2023, GX Foundation facilitated an exhaustive training course in collaboration with The Red Cross Society of China for the medical teams of 3 provinces and 1 autonomous region participating in “The Cataract Blindness Elimination Project” to obtain the international certificate of first aid qualification.

The exhaustive training course offered the first-ever opportunity for medical teams from different provinces to connect and exchange ideas. A total of 30 medical personnel, coming from Guangxi (aiding Laos and Cambodia), Fujian (aiding Senegal), Shanxi (aiding Djibouti), and Heilongjiang (aiding Mauritania) participated in the training. 6 GX Hong Kong colleagues also received first aid training in preparation for the upcoming humanitarian frontline aid work.
