GX holds training workshop in Vanuatu to explore local support solutions
In early April, GX conducted a training session with Vanuatu’s Ministry of Health Vector-Borne Disease (VBD) Unit in Port Vila. The session successfully brought together 15 field officers from five provinces - a rare opportunity - along with consultants from WHO and UNDP, allowing us to introduce GX's work and demonstrate the application and maintenance of donated disaster preparedness kits and vector control equipment.
The session generated enthusiastic engagement, particularly regarding the effectiveness of mosquito lamps, while also facilitating forward-looking discussions about sustainable solutions, including solar energy applications for future health initiatives. These exchanges are helping us explore more ways to support local communities.
