Early this month, Chairman LEUNG Chun-ying and CEO Prof. CHAN Ying-yang, Emily, accompanied by local officials, visited a temporary refugee camp housing 50 displaced households in Pursat Province near the Cambodia-Thailand border. Addressing the camp's severe sanitary conditions and high risk of infectious diseases, Chairman LEUNG noted that GX will leverage its extensive dengue control experience in Cambodia to provide aid. CEO Prof. CHAN added that following a field hazard assessment, GX is actively preparing public health assistance, including vector control, thereby translating the spirit of the "China-Cambodia-Thailand Track II Dialogue" into concrete action.

Additionally, GX signed two MOUs with the Cambodian Ministry of Health to extend the “Cataract Blindness Elimination Programme” and the “Project for Health Protection against Dengue Fever” to Kampong Thom Province for two years, further scaling up its medical humanitarian assistance in the country.
