"Direct Potable Water Project" launched in Timor-Leste

Following the signing of a Letter of Intent for the "Direct Potable Water Project" with the Ministry of Health of Timor-Leste in July, GX Foundation has installed around 30 water purification machines in local hospitals and schools. Witnessed by the Chairman of GX Foundation, Leung Chun-ying, CEO of GX Foundation, Professor Chan Ying-yang Emily, and the Minister of Health of Timor-Leste, Dr. Élia (Dr. Élia A.A. dos Reis AMARAL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the capital city of Dili on October 29th. Under the "Direct Potable Water Project", 100 water purification machines will be donated to local hospitals, medical facilities, and churches in one year, along with regular maintenance provision.

The Foundation also signed a student placement agreement with the University of Catholic Timor-Leste (UCT), offering medical school students the opportunity to participate in exchanges in mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, and Macau SAR.
