Chairman LEUNG Encourages Young Medical Talents: Build a Global Community of Health for All with Responsibility and Compassion
Yesterday at GX's Global Headquarters, Chairman LEUNG Chun-ying delivered a keynote lecture to approximately 30 young public health and medical professionals from the Chinese Mainland participating in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's "Familiarisation with International Health Regulations Talent Programme". The lecture was titled "Hong Kong's Contribution to Building a Global Community of Health for All".
The lecture focused on how Hong Kong can leverage its unique position to integrate into the nation's overall development and, through advancing international philanthropic initiatives, contribute to building a global community of shared future—actively responding to the nation's "Four Global Initiatives". During the session, Chairman LEUNG also introduced GX's overseas aid projects, along with the origins and objectives of this work.
Chairman LEUNG encouraged the younger generation of medical professionals to embrace a spirit of responsibility and compassion, to learn more about the nation's foreign aid efforts, and to work together for the health and well-being of humanity, promoting the "spirit of sharing". Participants found the session highly inspiring and engaged enthusiastically in a lively question-and-answer session.
