Brewing Hope, Spreading Kindness
The GX Club at Minxin Hong Kong School (Guangzhou Nansha) held its first Coffee Sale on 6 and 7 March. Nearly 30 club members stepped up as baristas, managing everything from venue setup and precision grinding to hand-brewing each cup. They also took the opportunity to introduce our guests to GX’s humanitarian mission—every step was fuelled by their sincerity and energy.
The coffee beans featured carried special significance, sourced from three countries where GX operates: Laos, Cambodia, and Timor-Leste. Behind every aromatic sip lay a story of humanitarian aid and hope. Thanks to their meaningful origin and excellent quality, our coffee sold out in no time.
Over the two-day event, around 300 parents, teachers, and students showed their support, raising more than 6,000 RMB. These funds will be allocated to GX’s future youth development initiatives.
Our heartfelt gratitude extends to all the teachers, students, and parents who supported us. We would also like to express special thanks to Mr. LUU Meng, GX’s Cambodia Advisor, and Mr. CHEN Li-song, GX’s Timor-Leste Advisor, for supplying the coffee beans for this charity sale. Let us continue to use coffee as a bridge to contribute to global humanitarian efforts!
