Launch of the “Timor-Leste Youth Placement Programme”

GX recently signed a student exchange agreement with the University of Catholic Timor-Leste to jointly launch a two-year "Timor-Leste Youth Placement Programme". This programme aims to provide local medical and nursing students with internship opportunities, fostering cultural exchange between Chinese and Timorese students.

Following interviews, 30 students were selected to participate in the programme this semester. They commenced a two-day training session on February 7th, focused on the “Project for Health Protection against Dengue Fever” and the “Direct Potable Water Project”. On February 14th, they began their internships at the Guido Valadares National Hospital and the Church of Saint Anthony of Motael, where they learned about project implementation and conducted on-site inspections.
