Collaboration with MUST to boost student exchange
As a platform dedicated to providing hands-on humanitarian assistance opportunities for the younger generation, GX places a strong emphasis on youth development.
Following the student agreement signing with the University of Catholic Timor-Leste, GX CEO Prof. CHAN Ying-yang Emily and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at MUST, Prof. Manson FOK, signed a 2-year student placement agreement on November 12. The occasion was witnessed by GX Chairman LEUNG Chun-ying and the Chancellor of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Chairman of the University Council, Dr. LIU Chak-wan.
This agreement aims to foster exchange and enhance people-to-people connectivity among the youth of Hong Kong, Macau, and Timor-Leste through participation in international humanitarian assistance initiatives.
GX hosted around 80 interns from various countries and will continue to provide frontline work opportunities for the next generation to stimulate their interest in humanitarian assistance.
