CEO Prof. CHAN Ying-yang Emily and her team conducted a survey yesterday on the implementation of the “Project for Health Protection against Dengue Fever” along the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway in Cambodia. This included inspecting service areas along the expressway, as well as checking mosquito lamps, large billboards, and promotional materials.

GX previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cambodian PPSHV Expressway Co., Ltd. in August last year for the “Project for Health Protection against Dengue Fever”. As part of this initiative, GX has donated anti-mosquito supplies to be set up along the expressway to help control the dengue fever outbreak. To date, 160 mosquito lamps have been provided, and locals have reported that these measures are effective in reducing mosquito breeding.

In addition to the “Project for Health Protection against Dengue Fever”, we are currently conducting the 9th cohort of the “Cataract Blindness Elimination Programme” in Kampong Speu Province. Nearly 5,000 free cataract surgeries have already been completed in the area.
