Honduran Ambassador to China visits Hong Kong for inspection; GX continues to deepen international medical cooperation

This week, H.E. Dr. Salvador MONCADA, Honduran Ambassador to China, visited Hong Kong to examine the latest developments and policies of the local healthcare system and traditional Chinese medicine. Accompanied by Chairman LEUNG and CEO Prof. CHAN, the delegation met with Prof. LO Chung-mau, Secretary of Health; Dr. KO Pat-sing, Tony, Chief Executive of the Hospital Authority; and Prof. BIAN Zhao-xiang, Administrative Director of the Chinese Medicine Hospital. The group also toured Queen Mary Hospital to observe the operational model of Hong Kong's public healthcare services.

The visit further strengthened medical cooperation between China and Honduras. Chairman LEUNG remarked: "Ambassador MONCADA is a renowned medical scientist with keen interest in our healthcare system. I believe this visit will pave the way for official collaborations in medical and public health between Hong Kong and Honduras."

Prof. CHAN added: "GX Foundation has been at the forefront of deepening international cooperation and people-to-people connectivity, actively supporting Belt and Road countries in addressing public health challenges through concrete actions."
