Delegation from the Honduran Ministry of Health visits Beijing to learn about China's public health and medical technology

From January 12th to 17th, GX hosted a six-member delegation from the Honduran Ministry of Health in Beijing, following their visit to Hong Kong.

In addition to meeting with Honduran Ambassador to China Sir Salvador MONCADA, the delegation also visited the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Institute for Global Health Development of Peking University, and the Beijing Institute of Biological Products, where they gained valuable insights into China's public health advancements.

Furthermore, through exchanges and meetings with the National Health Commission and Peking University People’s Hospital, the delegation was offered a comprehensive view of China's healthcare system and emergency response strategies.

A key highlight of their trip was a visit to Beijing's Tong Ren Tang, which gave the delegation an in-depth look at how traditional Chinese medicine is integrated into modern healthcare systems in China and developed into daily health products.

The delegation collectively felt that this inspection tour enabled them to develop a clearer understanding of the application of Chinese medical technology. Dr. Amy TOVAR, a member of the delegation, remarked, "I have always had the impression that Hong Kong SAR and mainland China had cutting edge technology, and it is great to see, in this trip, how the Chinese make use of it to manage the health of the population." Dr. Lizandro MARTÍNEZ added, "We will use what we acquired from this trip to continue to look after our population."
