CEO shares humanitarian experiences to inspire youth in international medical aid
This morning, CEO Prof. CHAN Ying-yang Emily shared her extensive experiences in humanitarian aid and detailed GX's projects in 8 Belt and Road countries with over a hundred students and teachers at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Nursing. Through this session, she hoped to inspire students by showing that young people from Hong Kong are making meaningful connections internationally through medical services. She also encouraged the students to consider a career in humanitarian aid after graduation.
Since December last year, GX has held 7 sessions of the "Belt and Road Medical Humanitarian Aid Educational Talk", with over 2,000 students and teachers having participated. These talks also arranged for students to connect with medical teams and staff stationed in different countries, including Laos and Cambodia, to gain insight into the local environments and challenges.
