The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce takes the lead among trade and industrial associations in supporting GX Foundation with a donation of 1 million HK Dollars

The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) recently donated HKD1 million to GX Foundation in full support of the Foundation’s continuous work of fostering people-to-people connectivity between Chinese and foreign people. Mr. CHEUNG Hok-sau, Vice Chairman of CGCC, presented the cheque to GX Board member, Dr. KO Wing-man, and CEO, Prof. Emily CHAN Ying-yang.

Dr. CHOI Koon-shum, Standing Committee Member of the CPPCC and Chairman of CGCC, commended GX for its commitment in providing medical and public health humanitarian aid in Belt and Road countries, as well as for the significant achievements from promoting various international charity work.

GX Board member Dr. KO Wing-man, thanked CGCC for its recognition and full support on the work of GX. He firmly believes that the donation from CGCC would help raise awareness of the efforts of GX across various sectors in Hong Kong, and play a crucial leading role in inspiring other trade and industrial associations and non-governmental organizations to support the Foundation’s development.

GX would like to wholeheartedly thank CGCC for their generous donation. We pledge to continue carrying out humanitarian aid and international charity work in various regions. GX will also continue to provide overseas internship opportunities for young people, allowing them to realize people-to-people connectivity in foreign countries.
