GX Foundation was pleased to partner with Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC) for local humanitarian medicine training for students and distribution of home quarantine care materials in the community on a remote island. The programme is also supported by the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation and the Hong Kong Yacht and Start-up Association's. Volunteers and students sailed to Cheung Chau Island to distribute 100 sets of COVID-19 rapid antigen tests, oximeters, surgical gloves, surgical gowns, face shields, and Home Quarantine Care Guidelines for COVID-19, in order to strengthen the independence and effectiveness of home-based care of the elderlies in the remote communities.
GX looks forward to continuing a meaningful partnership with Hong Kong-based organisations.
